The Urban Summit
WHAT WE DID
The Urban Summit is an annual conference that brings together church members, business leaders, nonprofit practitioners and people of goodwill to tackle complex questions related to poverty and commit practically to how we can enact change.
In order to build a stronger foundation within their brand, we worked with the team members and board to create a new identity and messaging structure that could translate to their website, social media and conference decor.

LOGO DESIGN
We designed the icon with inspiration from Memphis’ iconic pyramid and the mighty Mississippi River that borders the city.
The upward motion within the brand mark mimics that of a pulse, hinting at the notion that The Urban Summit is at the pulse and heartbeat of the city.
WEBSITE DESIGN
Once the new brand identity was created, it was time for a website redesign. We incorporated our Memphis Pulse design element into the headers of the new site to be the transition from image intro to the content on each page.
